About

Welcome to Dimly Lit Alley Way!

This site is my space to discuss movies covering genres such as classic cinema, film noir, avant-garde, horror, sci-fi, exploitation/grindhouse, schlock and more!

So while you are here…

a little about me and what this site is & isn’t about would be nice as well wouldn’t it?

I consider myself a cinephile and obsessive horror movie fan. I wanted to create a space where I can share my love of all things on the silver screen & originally started this blog way back in 2013 with the intention of using this space to rant about all things “movies”.

And believe me I love to rant!

What you will find here is a mix of my blogs, pieces of writing for Infamous Horror, movie posters/photos, trailers, movie quotes, links to films or other media on the public domain & whatever else takes my fancy.

This is not your average “reviews” site. Nor do I intend it to be.

If you are sick of reading the same tired old shit and want a somewhat different perspective, then you will feel right at home here! Sit back in a comfortable chair, grab your favourite poison, raise your feet & join me on the journey of some epic rants about all things devoted to the silver screen…reel by reel!
